The
only French operator between Dover and Calais, the SeaFrance
fleet currently consists of four vessels: the 'SeaFrance Cézanne',
the The SeaFrance Rodin and the 'SeaFrance Manet'.
The SeaFrance Berlioz was launched in April 2005, all have been
completely refurbished to offer the highest quality service
with an authentic atmosphere of France.
The SeaFrance Rodin was awarded the 2003-2004 Cruise & Ferry Award for the Most Innovative New Build Ferry.
In the wake of this success, SeaFrance commissioned a sister ship, the SeaFrance Berlioz, which was brought into service in 2005.
The company currently has a fleet of 6 ships and carries out 46 daily crossings, 30 of which are tourism sailings.
The company employs a total of 1,700 staff, including 1,200 seagoing personnel and is the largest employer in the town of Calais.
Its British subsidiary, SeaFrance Limited based in Dover, employs approximately 200 members of staff.
