As Brittany Ferries has matured since its formation in 1972, so has its significance to tourism in Western France and Northern Spain, with its influence reaching far beyond simply Brittany and Normandy.

Poole - Cherbourg. Day crossing time is 4 hours 15 minutes. Overnight sailings from Poole arrive at 07.00 next day. Overnight sailings from Cherbourg arrive at 06.00 next day. Ship operating this route: BARFLEUR.
